Mercer
Mercer is a small town, located on the banks of the Waikato River, just under an hours drive South from central Auckland. more
During the New Zealand Wars, the Waikato Military Settlement was established in Mercer and by 1866, the town was a busy river port for paddle steamers, which traded between Ngaruwahia and Hamilton.
Mercer is home to the Mercer Skydiving Centre and also offers east access to the Coromandel Peninsula.
